18.3 The Tenderer whose Tender is accepted shall be required to submit <strong>at</strong> his cost stamp<br />
papers of appropri<strong>at</strong>e value as per the provisions of Indian Stamp Act within 15 days<br />
of the d<strong>at</strong>e of issue of Letter of Acceptance.<br />
18.4 At the same time the Employer notifies the successful Tenderer th<strong>at</strong> his Tender has<br />
been accepted, the Employer will direct him to <strong>at</strong>tend the Employer’s office within 28<br />
days of issue of Letter of Acceptance for signing the Agreement in the proforma <strong>at</strong><br />
Annexure VII. The Agreement will however be signed only after the Contractor<br />
furnishes Performance Guarantee and Additional Performance Guarantee (where<br />
applicable) and hence, where justified, the period of 28 days stipul<strong>at</strong>ed above will be<br />
extended suitably.<br />
