(Members who are not the Lead Member of the Consortium should add the following<br />

* The Consortium is led by _________ (insert name of the Lead Member) whom we hereby<br />
authorize to act as leader on our behalf for the purposes of submission of Bid for ____<br />
(name of work) and to incur liabilities and receive instructions for and on behalf of any and<br />
all the partners of the Joint Venture/Members of the Consortium. For this purpose we have<br />
executed a Power of Attorney in favour of ______ (name of the Lead Member)<br />

Till the award of work, the Lead Partner shall furnish Bid bond and all other<br />
bonds/guarantees to the Employer on behalf of the Joint Venture, which shall be legally<br />
binding on all the partners of the Joint Venture.<br />
In the event of our Consortium being awarded the contract we agree to be jointly with<br />
________ (insert names of all other members of the Consortium) and severally liable to<br />
RITES, its successors and assigns for all oblig<strong>at</strong>ions, liabilities, duties and responsibilities<br />
arising from or imposed by the contract subsequently entered into between RITES and our<br />
Consortium.<br />
The precise responsibility of the Lead Member and other Members of the Consortium in<br />
respect of planning, design, construction equipment, key personnel, work execution and<br />
