Sealed tender in ‘Two packet system’ (i.e. Technical Bid and Financial Bid) are invited by RITES Limited for and on behalf of Pondicherry University (PU), Puducherry from experienced contractors/firms/companies for the work of “Supply, Erection, Testing & Commissioning of VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) Air Conditioning System work for Bioinformatics & Madanjeet Singh School of Green Buildings under 11 th Plan Building Projects for Pondicherry University at Puducherry. 2) Scope of Work: The work comprises of SITC of VRF air-conditioning system. a) Tender No. : RITES/CO/B&A/EE/PU/BIO&GB-1/2011 b) Estimated cost of work: Rs. 310.74 Lakhs (approx.) based on NSR & prevailing market rates. c) Earnest Money Deposit (EMD): Rs. 3,11,000.00 (Rupees Three Lakhs Eleven Thousand only) in the form of Banker’s Cheque/ Pay Order/ Demand Draft payable at GURGAON valid for a period of six months or more after last date of receipt of Tender pledged in favour of RITES Ltd, RITES Bhawan, 1, Sector-29, Gurgaon-122001. d) Completion period: 07 (Seven) months. e) Tender Sale Start date (11:00Hrs to 16:00Hrs): 12.01.2012 and Close Date: 25.01.2012 f) Date of tender submission: 14:00 hours on 30.01.2012. g) Date of tender opening: 14:30 hours on 30.01.2012. 3) Tender documents can be obtained on any working day at the time and period mentioned above (except Saturday, Sunday and Gazetted Holiday) on payment of Rs. 7,500/- (Seven Thousand five Hundred only) (non-refundable) in the form of Banker Draft / Banker Cheque / Pay order drawn on any schedule bank in favour of RITES Ltd, payable at Gurgaon. 4) Tenders in One sealed packets, as detailed below, shall be received up to the date and time of submission indicated in Para 3 above.
