Professor Ungeheuer, what will the world look
like 50 years from now? Forecasts extending over
several generations are very difficult to make. I
expect that the energy problem will be solved by
then and that many illnesses can be cured. However,
I doubt if the world as a whole will really be
more peaceful than today.
What role will solar energy play in your estimation?
Of all the renewable energies, solar energy
offers the largest potential which can be exploited
