CareerPoint is a private, nonprofit corporation which brings together the<br />
combined expertise of the Greater Holyoke Chamber of Commerce, the<br />
Massachusetts Division of Career Services, Holyoke Community College,<br />
the UMass/Donahue Institute, and the Department of Transitional<br />
Assistance. Their mission is to develop a strong workforce system by<br />
enhancing the competitive strengths of companies, improving the skills of<br />
employees and jobseeker and expanding career opportunities for citizens<br />
through economic development.<br />

Jobseekers Service<br />
Resource Library. Information on the labor market, job openings, schools and<br />
training organizations. Fully equipped with computerized workstations, telephones,<br />
Internet access, a career development library, and up-to-date job listings.<br />
Workshops. Covering topics ranging from career exploration and job interviewing to<br />
practical needs.<br />
Individualized Career Counseling. The multicultural team of career counselors is<br />
highly skilled at working with individuals from all walks of life and with all types of<br />
career development needs.<br />
