ACADEMIC EMPLOYMENT
Research Associate: Erik Dent laboratory, the Department of Neuroscience, University of
Wisconsin-Madison, WI (2009-present)
Faculty member: the Department of Physiology, College of Science, Mahidol University
Bangkok, Thailand (2002-present)
RESEARCH EXPERIENCES
PhD Dissertation
Dr. Mark M Rasenick’s laboratory, UIC (Chicago, IL)
: Study the functional effect of G protein regulating microtubule dynamics and neurite
outgrowth. Identify the specific interaction region on Gs alpha, and develop mimetic peptides
that have functional effects on tubulin GTPase activity as well as microtubule dynamics.
Postdoctoral training
Dr. Erik Dent’s laboratory, UW-Madison (Madison, WI)
: Study the function of F-BAR proteins in developing CNS neurons. Determine the
mechanism of how F-BAR proteins regulate cytoskeletal dynamics and affect growth cone
morphology, axon outgrowth and branching using live-imaging, biochemistry and molecular
biology techniques.
