Scottish Screen – Corporate Plan
4.4.2 Investment
Scottish Screen will seek to maximise the return on every investment – cultural,
economic, social and educational.
4.4.3 Delivery
Scottish Screen will seek, wherever it is most appropriate, sensible and cost effective
to do so, to outsource and/or delegate the direct delivery of projects, schemes,
initiatives and activities. We believe that this will assist in achieving our broader aims
through partner bodies and agencies and allow us to focus on our core functions.
All relationships with partner organisations will be clearly articulated in collaboration
agreements, service level agreements, etc. as appropriate.
4.5 Scottish Government Performance Framework
4.5.1 Scottish Screen will contribute to the Scottish Government’s overall purpose ‘to focus
government and public services on creating a more successful country, with
opportunities for all of Scotland to flourish, through increasing sustainable economic
growth’ and the five strategic objectives that underpin it – a wealthier and fairer,
smarter, healthier, greener, safer and stronger Scotland.’
4.5.2 Scottish Screen will contribute to the Scottish Government’s NDPB specific
outcomes:
• our public services are high quality, continually improving, efficient and
responsive to local people’s needs
• we reduce the local and global environmental impact of our consumption and
production
