I wish to make a formal application via the Freedom of Information Unit of the MOD for access to MOD Air files relating to UFOs and UFO policy for the period 1969 to the present day. I would define access as having the opportunity to examine all relevant files relating to UFO reports and UFO policy, making notes and copies of relevant material where necessary. I appreciate a project of this kind could take time and would incur costs, but these could easily be incorporated into my application for a research award. I would welcome to opportunity to discuss this proposal informally with a representative from the Ministry of the Defence and/or the Freedom of Information Unit and look forward to hearing from you, 3
