This week we welcome back Russell Robertson
for a one off game with his old club against our
arch rivals Devonport. Can you imagine the
conversations going on this week between Glen
Lutwyche and Max Brown at Ulverstone HS. They
will be pulling what hair they have left out trying to
work out who will play on him.
Robbo left the Dockers back in 1996 when he
was drafted by the Melbourne Football Club.
Making his debut in 1997, Robbo quickly set
about making himself a household name with
his spectacular marking and goal kicking ability.
After a career of 13 years and 228 AFL game
Robbo retired at the end of the 2009 season.
After todays game Robbo will be available to sign
autographs in the Devonport Clubrooms before
returning West Park Oval where the club will be
hosting an evening with Robbo. All sponsors,
supporters and members are welcome to join the
playing group for a night to remember.
