How Can I Submit Comments on the Draft EIS?
SEA encourages all interested parties to submit written comments on any
aspect of the Draft EIS. SEA will consider all comments in preparing the
Final EIS, which will include responses to all substantive comments, SEA’s
final conclusions on potential impacts, and SEA’s final recommendations.
It is helpful to SEA to hear comment on the following:
1. A particular alternative, impact assessment, and/or draft
mitigation.
2. Any incomplete or erroneous information.
3. How the proposed action would affect you.
Comments on the Draft EIS may be submitted by mail, by e-file, or by
telephone. All correspondence should refer to STB Finance Docket No.
35087. The deadline for comments on the Draft EIS is September 30, 2008.
When submitting comments, please be as specific as possible and
substantiate your concerns and recommendations.
