The Stopfordian 2010–2011
This year Stockport Grammar School celebrated 20 years of
involvement in the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme. These pages
illustrate some of the range of activities and expeditions in which our
pupils have taken part this year, and some of them receiving their
Gold Awards at St James’ Palace. As part of the 20th Anniversary
celebration, and in recognition of the school’s success in the scheme,
we were honoured and delighted to receive a visit from HRH Prince
Edward, The Earl of Wessex in November.
