– Non-slip, ribbed rungs with a flat side and a steep side to adapt to the roof pitch.
Depending on roof pitch either the flat or the slanted side of the rung can be used as
stepping surface. Roof ladders must be installed at right angles to the ridge.
Roof ladders must be secured on the second rung from top with roof hooks according
to DIN EN 517. The foot of the ladder is to be secured against moving sideways by
more than 30 cm, e.g. with safety roof hooks as per DIN EN 517.
