Property Tax Relief 2011: Who Wins? Who Loses?

The 2011 Legislature passed SJR 381, which will
appear on the 2012 general election ballot as
Amendment 4. The proposed constitutional
amendment will require additional caps on
non-homestead property, provide for significant
additional homestead tax exemptions and
repeal the so-called “Recapture Rule”
associated with Save Our Homes. Come to this
workshop to find out how these changes will
mesh with previous property tax relief measures
and what it might mean for your city if Florida
voters approve this amendment.
