another heating method, the use of electric overhead radiant heaters, was shown to provide<br />
localized heat to the given area without adversely affecting the art works. Irradiation of the<br />
area at the floor level increased temperature and reduced relative humidity in the church,<br />
but hardly affected the surfaces sheltered from irradiation, or being outside the heated area.<br />
