Registration for the spring semester begins November
6. As your account is reviewed to determine book
allowances, you will see the spring award being split
into two disbursements.
Earn As You Learn Disbursement Plan
So Lee College may better help you manage your funds
to extend through the semester, we will be moving to
an Earn As You Learn disbursement approach. If you
have aid of at least $1,500 per semester, funds will be
released in two batches. This means as you near the
end of the semester and complete more class time you
will receive a second disbursement to help with end of
the term costs. This will enable you to budget for the
semester better. If you have to leave school, this will
mean owing the college and your lenders less money.
Step 1
Funds for books for students with available aid will be
refunded beginning January 4, 2013, to your preferred
account or Lee College debit card.
Step 2
For award amounts over $1,500, half of your award will
be applied to your account by February 8. For late
awardees and students subjected to a 30-day loan
delay, half of your award will be applied to your
account February 22. Refunds are expected within 2
weeks (February 22 or March 8, respectively) from
that date.
Step 3
If you are still enrolled, the remaining half of your
award will be applied to your account by April 5, 2013.
Refunds are expected within 2 weeks (April 19)
from that date.
