Registration for the spring semester begins November<br />

6. As your account is reviewed to determine book<br />

allowances, you will see the spring award being split<br />

into two disbursements.<br />

Earn As You Learn Disbursement Plan<br />

So <strong>Lee</strong> <strong>College</strong> may better help you manage your funds<br />

to extend through the semester, we will be moving to<br />

an Earn As You Learn disbursement approach. If you<br />

have aid <strong>of</strong> at least $1,500 per semester, funds will be<br />

released in two batches. This means as you near the<br />

end <strong>of</strong> the semester and complete more class time you<br />

will receive a second disbursement to help with end <strong>of</strong><br />

the term costs. This will enable you to budget for the<br />

semester better. If you have to leave school, this will<br />

mean owing the college and your lenders less money.<br />

Step 1<br />

Funds for books for students with available aid will be<br />

refunded beginning January 4, <strong>2013</strong>, to your preferred<br />

account or <strong>Lee</strong> <strong>College</strong> debit card.<br />

Step 2<br />

For award amounts over $1,500, half <strong>of</strong> your award will<br />

be applied to your account by February 8. For late<br />

awardees and students subjected to a 30-day loan<br />

delay, half <strong>of</strong> your award will be applied to your<br />

account February 22. Refunds are expected within 2<br />

weeks (February 22 or March 8, respectively) from<br />

that date.<br />

Step 3<br />

If you are still enrolled, the remaining half <strong>of</strong> your<br />

award will be applied to your account by April 5, <strong>2013</strong>.<br />

Refunds are expected within 2 weeks (April 19)<br />

from that date.
