Subject: Preparation and publication of a Brochure in Hindi, English and
Assamese languages on the Centrally Sponsored Scheme
“Establishment of New ITI.s in North-Eastern States and Sikkim”
The matter on this file relates to preparing a Brochure in Hindi, English
and Assamese languages on the Centrally Sponsored Scheme “Establishment of
new ITI.s in North-Eastern States and Sikkim”.
In this connection, it is submitted that Dr. P.D. Shenoy, Secretary,
Department of Development of North-Eastern Region (DDONER), Government
of India held a meeting on 23.10.2001 with DG/JS and DT(P) to review the
progress of implementation of the above mentioned CSS. In the meeting interalia
the following decision was taken:
“ DGET will publish a Brochure in Hindi, English and Assamese
languages about the Centrally Sponsored Scheme “Establishment
of ITI.s in North Eastern States and Sikkim”.
Brochure on the Scheme containing its salient features is placed below for
approval. After approval the Brochure will be sent to Hindi Section and DAVP for
translation into Hindi and Assamese respectively. Thereafter the Brochure will be
published for circulation.
