The nomogram of pressure losses is valid for all VS dampers.<br />
For the selected air flow rate , the air flow velocity in the free<br />
damper‘s cross-section can be read in the lower graph, and<br />
then the corresponding VS damper‘s air pressure loss at the<br />
known velocity can be determined in the upper part .<br />
Example: At an air flow rate of 5,000 m3/h, the velocity of the air<br />
flow in the damper will be 11.1 m/s. The air pressure loss of the<br />
VS 400 damper for the above-mentioned air flow rate will be<br />
22 Pa.<br />
