CAMPUS Asia<br />

The “Beijing-Seoul-Tokyo Dual Degree Master’s Program on<br />

International and Public Policy Studies (BESETO DDMP)” is a<br />

joint project by the University of Tokyo’s Graduate School of<br />

Public Policy (UT-GraSPP), Peking University’s School of International<br />

Studies (PKU-SIS) and Seoul National University’s<br />

Graduate School of International Studies (SNU-GSIS). In this<br />

project, three leading East Asian universities will aim to develop<br />

a double degree program with each other. This will be the<br />

first English-taught double degree Master’s level collaborative<br />

program in East Asia. The Japanese, Korean and Chinese<br />

governments will each give financial supports to students.<br />

DEGREES: Master of Public Policy from Todai, Master of International<br />

Studies from SNU or Master of Law in International<br />

Relations from PKU will be conferred.<br />

To accelerate the CAMPUS Asia Pilot Program, GraSPP will<br />

also commence an English-taught program, Master of Public<br />

Policy, Campus Asia Program, MPP/CAP, in April 2013, where<br />

studying at PKU-SIS and SNU-GSIS is an integral requirement<br />

for the completion of the program.<br />

Exchange Program (AIKOM)<br />

AIKOM “Abroad in Komaba” is offered by the University of Tokyo’s<br />

College of Arts and Sciences. It is designated to provide<br />

senior division undergraduates from around the globe<br />

with an exciting learning experience in the company of<br />

excellent professors and active, highly-motivated students from all over<br />

Japan. To enable students with diverse academic backgrounds to<br />

participate, no prior knowledge of the Japanese language is required.<br />

The program operates under short-term exchange agreements<br />

stipulating mutual waiver of tuition fees.<br />

Courses are offered in English, and credits may be recognized by the<br />

students’ home universities.<br />
