ASSISTANT COACH JOHNATHAN FAHEY<br />
Coach Fahey begins his fifth season with the Rams as assistant coach. He played as a goalie for<br />
Rhode Island from 1992-1994, after transferring from Pottsdam State following his sophomore year.<br />
Fahey received his B.S. in Turf Management from the University of Rhode Island in 1994.<br />
A native of Lincoln, Rhode Island, Fahey earned all-state honors for the nation's most dominant<br />
high school hockey program-Mt. Saint Charles Academy.<br />
Coach Fahey and his wife, Roberta, reside in Putnam, CT.<br />
GOALIE COACH DAVE REECE<br />
Dave Reece begins his first season at Rhode Island as the goalie coach. He brings 25 years of<br />
experience to the Rhode Island program.<br />
Born in Troy, NY, Reece played four years at the University of Vermont. Dave finished his career<br />
with a 3.01 GAA and a 90% save percentage in 77 games. These accomplishments rank him 4th<br />
all time in UVM history. The UVM goaltender still holds school records which include having the<br />
most consecutive minutes played without being scored upon at 152.33 minutes, as well as<br />
recording the most saves in one game, 52, against New Hampshire. Dave continued his career<br />
playing on the U.S. Olympic <strong>Team</strong>, in the AHL and with the Boston Bruins during the 1975-1976<br />
season.<br />
Dave currently resides in South Kingstown, RI. His knowledge and expertise will be a valuable<br />
benefit to the University of Rhode Island hockey program.
