include project management, technology management, technology transfer, national
innovation systems, disaster management and social management systems. He holds
a BSc in Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, an MSc in Construction from the
Loughborough University of Technology, the United Kingdom and a Ph.D. in
Construction Management from the same university.
MOHAMMAD SAIF NOMAN KHAN is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Business
Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka. He has many years of corporate experience
working in the financial sector. He has undertaken management and business
consultancy projects both in the public and private sectors. He has conducted research
and published research papers on micro, small and medium enterprises and banking
in Bangladesh. He has also worked for the World Bank in Dhaka. He received an MBA
in Finance from the IBA, University of Dhaka. He also holds a BA and MA degrees in
English Literature from the University of Dhaka.
POSH RAJ PANDEY is the President of South Asia Watch on Trade Economics and
Environment (SAWTEE), a consortium of South Asian NGOs, working to build capacity
of concerned stakeholders in the context of liberalization and globalization. He holds
a Ph. D. in Economics and Master’s Degrees in Business Management and in Economics.
He was a member of the National Planning Commission of Nepal. He has worked with
the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Nepal on the issues of
multilateral trade integration and trade related capacity-building. He has published
research papers on international trade in various national and international journals/
books.
