LTJG ROBERT BUSZKIEWICZ has returned<br />
from his tour <strong>of</strong> duty in Xorfolk, Va., and will<br />
become mgr. <strong>of</strong> Eddie's Hare & The Tortoise<br />
Restaurant in South Bend. Bob's father, Eddie, is<br />
looking for\\ard to his new helper returning to South<br />
Bend with his wife Mar>' and their daughter Terri.<br />
HAROLD HUECKER has started work as a<br />
management intern for General Services Administration<br />
in their central <strong>of</strong>fice in Washington, D.C.<br />
BOB BARTHOLOME^V, after completing his<br />
master <strong>of</strong> fine arts degree in industrial design at<br />
Michigan State U., is pursuing his PhD in art<br />
historj- at the U. <strong>of</strong> Iowa.<br />
DAN ZAV.\DA recently married a Lansing girl.<br />
Sue King, a coed at Michigan State. Dan will<br />
complete his graduate studies in June <strong>of</strong> '65 at<br />
Michigan State.<br />
BILL PEDTKE has joined the philosophy dcpt,<br />
faculty at Ducliesne College and .Academy <strong>of</strong> the<br />
Sacred Heart in Omalia.<br />
DAN KOENIG is teadiing sociology- at Gannon<br />
College in Erie, Pa.<br />
BILL BARTLETT received tlie degree <strong>of</strong> master<br />
<strong>of</strong> business administration from the U. <strong>of</strong> Chicago<br />
on March 20. Bill chose finance and accounting as<br />
his fields <strong>of</strong> concentration and has started work for<br />
RCA in New York.<br />
TOM TWARDOWSKI has been appointed assoc.<br />
editor <strong>of</strong> the \^llano^•a Law Rc\ieu-. The Law<br />
Review, which is a significant publication in the field<br />
<strong>of</strong> recognized legal authority, Is circulated throughout<br />
the English-speaking world. It is composed <strong>of</strong><br />
articles submitted by distinguished legal scholars,<br />
"comments" on problems <strong>of</strong> the law, and "notes"<br />
on recent court decisions <strong>of</strong> legal import. Tom and<br />
hb partner won the Law School's annual Reimel<br />
Moot Court Competition, held last April.<br />
DICK MEECE is at present on duty as finance<br />
<strong>of</strong>ficer at Taegu, Korea, with the US Army.<br />
TOM GROSS received his MS In industrial adnunistratlon<br />
from Carnegie Institute <strong>of</strong> Teclinology<br />
in June.<br />
TONY BILL played a Marx brother on stage in<br />
"Room Service" at the Thcatre-by-thc-Sea in<br />
Venice, Calif.<br />
TOM KELLY, formerly a technical representative<br />
for Burroughs Corp., has been named systems<br />
mgr. by Data Computing Services Inc. <strong>of</strong> Soutli<br />
Bend.<br />
BOB TIGELMAX received his master's degree in<br />
business administration at the U. <strong>of</strong> Chicago in June<br />
and is now working for the Babcock & Wilcox Co.,<br />
Barbcrton, Ohio.<br />
After serving with auditing firms in Pontiac and<br />
Detroit, DAVE BOYD has joined the Western<br />
Michigan U. accounting dcpt. as an instructor. Dave<br />
received his master <strong>of</strong> business administration degree<br />
from the U. <strong>of</strong> Detroit in .August.<br />
BOB HENRY spent 12 weeks <strong>of</strong> special study at<br />
At^onne National Laboratory working on selected<br />
engineering problems directly related to the lab's<br />
research and development activities.<br />
DAVE ROMANO, LTJG in the Navy, recently<br />
received his honorable discharge and is now employed<br />
with the Crocker Citizens National Bank in Los<br />

After graduation, JOHN MULL LLB'62 joined<br />
Associates Investment Co., South Bend, where he<br />
was recently named asst. treas. to supervise internal<br />

held at the Waldorf on .August 13 In conjunction<br />
with the American Bar .Association Convention in<br />
New York City. DEAN O'.MEARA, one <strong>of</strong> the<br />
principal speakers, noted that PROF. KELLEN-<br />
BERG has left the Law School for reasons <strong>of</strong> health.<br />
I understand tliat he is spending this academic year<br />
in Tanganyika teaching law under a Ford Foundation<br />
grant. BOB BLAKEY, '60, has resigned his position<br />
in Washington, D.C, and will handle the property<br />
course this fall.<br />
KEVIN LYONS was the only other member <strong>of</strong><br />
our group in attendance at the luncheon, although<br />

in Manhattan, handled some <strong>of</strong> the arrangements.<br />
Kevin and Fran had their third baby boy (9 lbs.,<br />
6 ozs.), Michael, last June 27. Kevin, Fran and their<br />
two other sons drove down to see JOHN DELL in<br />
West Palm Beacli last September and reported that<br />
Big John and family were doing mighty fine.<br />
Sophie and JIM GOEFHALS had their second<br />
baby boy ( 9 lbs.), Robert, last July 17. Yours truly<br />
and Marge also irame through with a baby boy (8<br />
lbs., 3 ozs.), Keith, last June <strong>22</strong>.<br />

I'm afraid I must open this column on a rather<br />
sad note. Second Lt. HAROLD HOFFM.AN drowned<br />
in a flood near the truce line between North and<br />
South Korea on August 12.<br />
Hal and an enlisted man had been sent in a<br />
v%Teckcr to retrieve a vehicle stranded In a floodswollen<br />
stream. The wrecker also got stuck, and the<br />
two attempted to swim to shore when the water<br />
began to rise.<br />

Corps training for Chile at ND. They will spend the<br />

Army newspapers at Fort Meade, Md., and was a<br />
reporter for the South Bend Tribune and the Miami<br />
