threatened. The majority of species <strong>in</strong> this list had fewer than 100 <strong>in</strong>dividual site records, and<br />
no species had more than 500 site records. The genus Amytornis had four representatives.<br />
These are the grass wrens that <strong>in</strong>habit grasslands and shrublands of drier parts of Australia.<br />
Such areas are generally not well reserved, which reflects the results for the grass wrens.<br />
