2.1 Perspectives<br />

Perspectives can be thought <strong>of</strong> as tables in your dTIMS CT Database Perspectives act as the<br />

holders for the data required or produced by dTIMS CT. <strong>The</strong> perspectives contains column<br />

called attributes or fields that describes the name for the type <strong>of</strong> data and rows called<br />

elements that contains the actual data. Attribute objects allow you to define the<br />

characteristics you want to store in each Perspective. <strong>The</strong> name ‘perspective’ is derived from<br />

the fact that perspectives represent a different way <strong>of</strong> looking at your network. <strong>The</strong> name<br />
