Notice of Preparation of Amendment<br />

Amendment C94<br />

Authorisation A01022<br />

Whitehorse City Council has prepared<br />

Amendment C94 to the Whitehorse Planning<br />

Scheme.<br />

In accordance with section 8A(3) of the<br />

Planning and Environment Act 1987, the<br />

Minister for Planning authorised Whitehorse<br />

City Council as planning authority to prepare<br />

the Amendment.<br />

The land affected by the Amendment is all<br />

land zoned Business 1 and Mixed Use in the<br />

Mitcham Neighbourhood Activity Centre.<br />

The Amendment proposes to introduce a<br />

permanent Design and Development Overlay<br />

Schedule 5 (Clause 43.02 Schedule 5) – Mitcham<br />

Neighbourhood Activity Centre Height Limits<br />

over the Neighbourhood Activity Centre to limit<br />

the height of buildings.
