The Wodonga Council has prepared<br />

Amendment C81 to the Wodonga Planning<br />

Scheme.<br />

In accordance with section 8A(3) of the<br />

Planning and Environment Act 1987, the<br />

Minister for Planning authorised the Wodonga<br />

Council as planning authority to prepare the<br />

Amendment.<br />

The land affected by the Amendment is:<br />

Lot 1 PS 512093, Lot 100 PS 610934, Lot<br />

A PS 442444, and Lot 6 PS 500354, Lot<br />

1 PS 500354, Lot 2 PS 500354, Lot 3 PS<br />

500354, Lot 4 PS 500354, Lot 5 PS 500354,<br />

Lot 1 PS 442444V, Lot 2 PS 442444V, Lot<br />

101 PS 610934, Wodonga–Yackandandah<br />

Road, Jillamatong Drive, and Bromley Drive,<br />

Staghorn Flat (Vol/Fol: 10730/817; 11104/090;<br />

10622/439; 10733/764; 10733/759; 10733/760;<br />

10733/761; 10733/762; 10733/763; 10622/437;<br />

10622/438; 11104/091).<br />

The Amendment proposes to:<br />

1. rezone approximately 96.4 hectares of<br />

land from Rural Living Zone and Rural<br />

Conservation Zone to Low Density<br />

Residential Zone;<br />

2. rezone approximately 11 hectares of land<br />

from Rural Living Zone to Public Park and<br />

Recreation Zone;<br />

3. rezone approximately 1.5 hectares of<br />

land from Rural Living Zone to Rural<br />

Conservation Zone;<br />

4. delete the Development Plan Overlay –<br />

Schedule 4 from the site;<br />

5. amend the boundary of the Environmental<br />

Significance Overlay – Schedule 2 to<br />

coincide with the level of development as<br />

shown on the Development Plan; and<br />

6. insert a new Schedule 17 to the Development<br />

Plan Overlay relating to the ‘Baranduda<br />

Springs’ part of the ‘Baranduda South and<br />

Patricevale Investigation Area’ to provide<br />

for the orderly development of the land.<br />
