2. CONTRACT APPROVAL<br />
a. Recommended approval of a contract with Mote & Associates in the<br />
amount of $1,200.00 for preliminary analysis on the Woodland Waste<br />
Water plant upgrades in accordance with EPA regulations.<br />

b. Recommended approval of a contract with Education, Inc. in the amount<br />
of $38.00 per hour for tutoring services for an identified special needs<br />
student currently a resident of the Ohio Hospital for Psychiatry. The<br />
hours of Home Instruction services provided by Education, Inc. will not<br />
exceed five hours per week.<br />
3. REQUESTS<br />
a. Recommended the following individuals be accepted as exchange<br />
students at <strong>Greenville</strong> High School for the 2007-20<strong>08</strong> school year,<br />
pending the receipt of all appropriate documents:<br />

b. Recommended the approval of the updated <strong>Greenville</strong> <strong>City</strong> <strong>Schools</strong> Local<br />
Professional Development Committee Guidelines.<br />
c. RESOLUTION OF BOARD DISPENSING WITH STATUTORY<br />
PROCEDURE<br />
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the Board must<br />
accommodate the purchase of modular classrooms (5) due to the closing<br />
of two school buildings for financial reasons. The modular classrooms<br />
will be located at 7550 St. Rt. 118, <strong>Greenville</strong>, Ohio, at a cost which will<br />
exceed $25,000; and,<br />
WHEREAS, it is necessary that the work be done and the modular<br />
classrooms be placed at Woodland Heights Elementary School in the<br />
most expeditious manner possible consistent with proper building<br />
construction practice in order to provide quarters for primary grades at<br />
such location which are necessary to accommodate the additional student<br />
enrollment as a result of relocation within the district, to allow the<br />
teaching staff to properly conduct school sessions; Therefore,<br />
BE IT RESOLVED that this Board, finding a case of urgent<br />
necessity existing, pursuant to ORC Section 3313.46(A), hereby waives<br />
the procedure outlined by statue in respect to advertising for bids, and in<br />
lieu thereof, directs that the Treasurer dispense with all normal bidding<br />
requirements.<br />
