Why Study Level 2 Certificate<br />
in Hair Services?<br />

The qualification provides information and understanding<br />
about the hairdressing industry and the skills needed. It also<br />
provides and insight into the types of jobs and sectors of work<br />
that are associated with the industry. This will assist students<br />
to make informed choices about their future careers.<br />
The qualification provides a taste of the hairdressing industry,<br />
and although it is not a full NVQ qualification, it is a step<br />
towards reaching a Level 2 NVQ. There is an academic aspect<br />
to the course as well as the practical element.<br />
The qualification is worth the equivalent of 3 x A* - C GCSE’s.<br />

elements of beauty services but the course qualification is a<br />
