1. NIGHT FLIGHT RESTRICTION<br />

No civil subsonic jet aircraft shall take off<br />

from Ben Gurion Airport in the period 02-<br />

05LT(W) and 02-04(S). Exceptions from the<br />

above restriction:<br />

1.1 Take-offs of aeroplanes rendering medical<br />

assistance.<br />

1.2 Israel Air Force flights.<br />

1.3 Other special flights, only by prior<br />

permission from the CAA.<br />

1.4 Take-offs until 0140LT and from 0550LT<br />

during winter season or from 0450LT during<br />

summer season - only stage 3 and stage 4<br />

are permitted.<br />

Take-offs between 0140-0200LT (actual<br />

take-off time only and not scheduled time)<br />

- only stage 4 are permitted.<br />

3. MAINTENANCE RUN-UPS<br />

Run-ups for maintenance purposes are not<br />

permitted between 2300-0500 LT.<br />

4. DEPARTURES<br />

4.1 NADP 1 applies.<br />

4.2 Take-off to MNM 950 QNH, then reduce to<br />

thrust not less than climb power. Between<br />

950-3150 QNH climb at V2+10kt (or as<br />

limited by angle).<br />

4.3 At 3150 QNH or if restricted to 3000 QNH<br />

by ATC normal acceleration and en-route<br />

climb confi guration.<br />

5. REVERSE THRUST<br />

Reverse thrust, other than idle thrust, shall<br />

not be used between 2300-0600 LT except<br />

for safety reasons.<br />

Take-offs between 0500-0550LT during<br />

winter season and between 0400-0450LT<br />

during summer season - stage 4 only<br />

permitted.<br />

2. PREFERENTIAL RUNWAY SYSTEM<br />

Runway 26/08 is the only available runway<br />

for landing and take-off.<br />

2.1 Arrivals<br />

Runways 26 will be the preferred runway<br />

for landing, between sunrise and 30min<br />

before sunset, provided the tailwind<br />

component does not exceed 10kt on a dry<br />

runway, or 5kt on a wet runway.<br />

Runway 08 will be the preferred runway for<br />

landing, between 30mins before sunset and<br />

sunrise, provided the tailwind component<br />

does not exceed 10kt on a dry runway or<br />

5kt on a wet runway.<br />

2.2 Departures<br />

Runways 26 and 08 will be the preferred<br />

runways for take-off, provided the tailwind<br />

component does not exceed 5kt.<br />

The following combinations might be used:<br />

(a) Runway 26 for landing while<br />

Runway 26 for take-off; times as<br />

specified for arrivals.<br />

(b) Runway 08 for landing while<br />

Runway 08 for take-off; times as<br />

specified for arrivals.<br />
