4.3 Guidance for parking stands of concourses<br />
B, C and D will be by Visual Docking<br />
Guidance System (VDGS). Taxi into<br />
the stand accurately on the C/L before,<br />
during and after final turn into the stand.<br />
Taxi and landing lights should be turned<br />
off when not required. In case of VDGS<br />
malfunctioning, stop immediately and notify<br />
the GND, and aircraft shall be towed into<br />
the stands. When C-6 or D-6 are occupied,<br />
aircraft assigned parking stands C-5 or D-5<br />
(respectively) shall be towed into stands.<br />
4.4 Entry to APN V by towing only.<br />
4.5 Shall continue transmitting Mode A<br />
Code and Mode S until parked on stand.<br />
Transponders shall be deactivated when<br />
aircraft parked on stand. Aircraft operating<br />
Mode S shall identify using ICAO callsign.<br />

5. TAXI<br />
5.1 ACFT taxiing to parking positions on apron<br />
BE, BN, J & L unless otherwise stated by<br />
ATC shall:<br />
Arriving RWY 08:<br />
Taxi via W3, R, N.<br />
Arriving RWY 26:<br />
Taxi via W4, RWY 12, R, N.<br />
5.2 ACFT taxiing to parking positions on<br />
Terminal 3 aprons shall:<br />

Taxi via W3, R<br />
Arriving RWY 26:<br />
Taxi via W4, K<br />
DEPARTURE<br />
1. Contact CPT 129.2 fi fteen minutes before<br />
start-up specifying callsign, type, stand<br />
number, ATIS letter and the intended startup<br />
time.<br />
1.1 When ready for departure, obtain ‘pushback’<br />
clearance and taxi instructions from<br />
GND frequencies then vacate the gate with<br />
out delay.<br />
1.2 “Follow Me” vehicle available from aprons<br />
in low visibility.<br />
1.3 Apron BE (stands B21-B40) start-up<br />
procedure: Start-up all engines while<br />
pushing back to the nearest release point<br />
(S1, S2) and taxiing will commence as<br />
soon as possible.<br />
1.4 Apron BN (stands B41-B42) start-up<br />
procedure: Push back to start up position<br />
on TWY K.<br />
1.5 Apron BN (stands B43-B47) start-up<br />
procedure: Push back and start up on<br />
apron start up position on apron BN and<br />
taxi out.<br />
1.6 Apron V (stands V1-V8) start-up procedure:<br />
Push back to a start up position on apron V<br />
and taxi out.<br />
1.7 Aprons B, C, D of terminal 3 (Ground<br />
West): Engine start-up while aircraft is<br />
connected to the gate is prohibited. Startup<br />
while aircraft is being pushed back is<br />
permitted.<br />

1.8 Pilots cleared to line-up shall be ready for<br />
immediate take-off; if unable, notify ATC in<br />
advance.<br />
1.9 Departing aircraft shall operate transponder<br />
on mode A and Mode S when ready for<br />
pushback or for taxi whichever is earlier.<br />
Aircraft operating Mode S shall identify<br />
using ICAO call sign.<br />
1.10 Prop ACFT may depart from RWY 08 at K<br />
intersection.<br />
1.11 RWY 26 preferred departure points are W1<br />
& W2 respectively. Departures from TWY<br />
E are by prior ATC permission only.<br />
