Our medical staff is made up of boardcertified cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, electrophysiologists, pediatric cardiologists and pediatric cardiothoracic surgeons. treatment for every patient. By offering the full continuum of cardiovascular services, we are able to provide seamless care to your patients, whatever their needs. Keeping your patients safe and closely monitored is of paramount importance to every member of the team at St. Joseph's Hospital Heart Institute. To help ensure that safety, 100% of the technical and nursing staff in the Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology labs are Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certified. St. Joseph's Hospital Heart Institute is not confined to a single physical structure. Instead, the Heart Institute is defined by services throughout St. Joseph's including: • Non-invasive diagnostic testing & advanced imaging • Comprehensive emergency care – with a specialized Cardiac Alert Team serving as advocates and care coordinators for heart attack patients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week • Cardiac catheterization & electrophysiology services • Cardiac surgery (including minimally invasive approaches) • Inpatient cardiac critical care services • Dedicated inpatient telemetry rooms • Cardiopulmonary rehabilitation services • Primary prevention services (through the Women's Healthy Heart Center and St. Joseph's Community Health initiatives) S T .
