O
ne year ago, I could not have imagined
I’d be the editor of a magazine. When my
oldest friend, Melonie, (not as in eldest,
but as in time known-she made me say) presented
me with the opportunity of owning and running a
magazine, I thought she was crazy! Here we are, six
months later having the time of our lives!
In the past two months, I’ve learned so much
and met so many wonderful people. I’ve had the

amazing opportunity to work with Melonie, meet
new people and discover so many smart and amazing women in Denver! I have lived in Colorado for 36 years and in Denver for
13, but I have uncovered more local treasures in the past 2 months than I have in the past two decades!
Bringing HERLIFE Magazine to Denver is a perfect fit for me. I love Denver! I love the climate, the sunshine and the lack
of humidity (and so does my hair!). There are so many wonderful communities in Denver – each one with its unique culture and
flair; Highlands, Belmar, Old Town Littleton, Cherry Creek, Highlands Ranch, Boulder, Golden…it’s a never ending list!
After such an exciting and promising end to 2010, I have no doubt that 2011 will be filled with new discoveries, adventures
and friends. There are so many things I look forward to in the coming months and years with HERLIFE Magazine. I can’t wait to
meet all of the fabulous women in Denver and learn from you! And most importantly, I can’t wait for our launch party on February
20 at Panzano’s, where we can meet and thank our supporters and introduce them to Denver’s premier women’s magazine! Check
