5.1.9 Investors’ Profile
This Fund would be suitable for investors who:
(a) seek returns that are potentially higher than fixed deposit rates;
(b) have a Medium Term to Long Term investment horizon; and
(c) have high risk tolerance.
6. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IN RELATION TO THE FUND
6.1 Borrowings and Securities Lending
Unless approved by the SC, the Fund may not borrow cash or other assets
in connection with its activities. However, the Fund may borrow cash on a
temporary basis for the purpose of meeting redemption requests for Units and
for short term bridging requirements subject to the following:
(a) the Fund’s cash borrowing is only on a temporary basis and that borrowings
are not persistent;
(b) the borrowing period shall not exceed one month;
(c) the aggregate borrowings of the Fund shall not exceed 10% of the Fund’s
NAV at the time the borrowing is incurred; and
(d) the Fund may only borrow from financial institutions.
The Fund may participate in the lending of securities within the meaning of
the Securities Borrowing and Lending Guidelines issued by the SC.
6.2 Valuation Bases For the Fund’s Investments
In valuing the Fund’s investments, the Manager will ensure that all the assets
of the Fund will be valued at fair value and at all times be in compliance with
Schedule B of the Guidelines and all relevant laws. The valuation bases for the
