war, he developed corneal ulcer in right eye and<br />

permanently lost his sight.<br />

Jean Paul Sartre (1905-80):<br />

a French author, philosopher, He was awarded the<br />

Nobel Prize for literature in 1964 but he declined it.<br />

At the age of 4 he suffered from corneal ulcer and<br />

developed a right leucoma which led to exotropia.<br />
