In 1992, the Alliance was chosen by Allegheny County as the Early Intervention Service Coordination Agency for families of children, ages birth to three years, who have developmental concerns. The Alliance For Infants and Toddlers, Inc. is the service coordination unit for families of children receiving Early Intervention services (birth to three years of age) in Allegheny County. How to Get Started: Families with concerns about their child’s (age birth to 3) development or who would like to know more about Early Intervention services should contact The Alliance For Infants and Toddlers, Inc., at 412-885-6000. Families with a child between the ages of 3 and 5 should contact the Allegheny County/City of Pittsburgh, Early Childhood Education Program at 1-866-214-KIDS (5437).
