, ,% , INVESTIGATIONS AND PROSECUTIONS Investigations The Department received 3,352 pursuable reports in 2000, representing an increase of 8% compared to 3,110 in 1999. During the year, 2,893 investigations were completed. Detailed breakdowns are shown in the following table and Appendix 4. At year end, 77 cases were awaiting legal advice.
