The Anise Hotel is conveniently located at
the north end of the historic Old Quarter,
within walking distance from the lake. It
has a simple but warm interior, and offers
great value while still retaining a boutique
feel. The lovely park across the street is a
great place to watch Hanoi come to life.
Beds are very comfortable, and the décor
has a contemporary Asian feel, however
standard rooms do not have windows.
There is a small fitness centre and the
restaurant offers views over Hanoi.
Staff are helpful and the great value for
money is hard to beat. This hotel is a cosy
escape in the Old Quarter, perfect for
budget travellers.
