Minutes <strong>of</strong> Special Meeting Held July 16, <strong>2012</strong><br />
A special meeting <strong>of</strong> the Licensing/Permit Committee was held on July 16, <strong>2012</strong>, in Room 204 <strong>of</strong> the<br />
<strong>Kenosha</strong> Municipal Building.<br />
The meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m. by Vice-Chair Juliana.<br />
At roll call, the following members were present: Alderpersons Wilson and Schwartz. Alderperson<br />
Downing arrived at 5:02. Alderperson Kennedy was excused. Deputy <strong>City</strong> Attorney Matt Knight was<br />
present.<br />
1. Application <strong>of</strong> Kathleen A. Bezotte, for an Outdoor Area Cabaret License, located at 4619 - 8 th<br />
Ave., (Cheers) for July 21, <strong>2012</strong>.<br />
Applicant was present and spoke. Alderperson Schwartz spoke in favor <strong>of</strong> the applicant. It<br />
was moved by Alderperson Wilson, seconded by Alderperson Juliana to approve. Motion<br />
carried unanimously.<br />
2. Reconsideration <strong>of</strong> the proposed Ordinance by Alderperson Jesse Downing; Co-Sponsors:<br />
Alderperson Rocco LaMacchia, Sr., Alderperson Chris Schwartz - To Repeal and Recreate<br />
Subsection 10.075 E.1. and E.2. and to Create Subsection 10.075 E.8. <strong>of</strong> the Code <strong>of</strong> General<br />
Ordinances for the <strong>City</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Kenosha</strong>, <strong>Wisconsin</strong> regarding Outdoor Extension <strong>of</strong> a “Class B”, Class<br />
“B” and/or “Class C” Licensed Premises, previously reviewed at the meeting on June 25, <strong>2012</strong>.<br />
It was moved by Alderperson Juliana, seconded by Alderperson Schwartz to approve as<br />
amended. Motion carried 3-1, with Alderperson Wilson voting nay.<br />

There being no further business to come before the Licensing/Permit Committee, it was moved,<br />
seconded and unanimously carried to adjourn at 5:10 p.m.
