August Membership Report by Doug Klein, Membership Director<br />
The <strong>Sacramento</strong> <strong>Valley</strong> <strong>Region</strong> <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Porsche</strong> <strong>Club</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>America</strong> has 578 regular members and 475 affiliate members (husband, wife, son, etc) for a total <strong>of</strong> 1,053. This<br />
past month, we had 9 new members plus 1 transfer-in from the Intermountain <strong>Region</strong> in Utah for a total <strong>of</strong> 10 new SVR members.<br />
On the other hand, it’s the time <strong>of</strong> year when people<br />
pack up and move. Five members transferred to other<br />
regions, the largest number <strong>of</strong> any single month this<br />
year. Compared to one year ago, membership has declined<br />
a remarkably small 5.7%, a testament to <strong>Porsche</strong><br />
owners’ camaraderie and love <strong>of</strong> their cars.<br />
