Cookie Crumb’s by Yvonne “Cookie” Anderson, 2009 SVR President Since becoming a Porsche Club member in 2005, I’ve been impressed with the large number of volunteers who step forward and make the Club a success. Whether it’s hosting a dinner, organizing a tour or serving on the Board of Directors, dedication and enthusiasm is the norm. In the next few months you will see articles written by the Treasurer, Vice President, Secretary and Social Director describing their duties. Even though were just half-way through the year, it’s time to begin planning for 2010. Four members of the ten-member Board of Directors will be “termed out” (i.e. served two years) later this year. The positions are Vice-President, Social Director, Treasurer and Secretary. Perhaps you’ve considered getting involved by contributing your time and talent to Club operations. This is your opportunity to help chart the course of our Club through 2010. You’ve no doubt enjoyed many club events. You’ll find that serving on the Board is even more rewarding. 2 the drifter
