Introduction <strong>Ottawa</strong> <strong>Area</strong> <strong>Intermediate</strong> <strong>School</strong> <strong>District</strong> provides and enriches educational opportunities for students, schools, and communities. <strong>Ottawa</strong> <strong>Area</strong> <strong>Intermediate</strong> <strong>School</strong> <strong>District</strong> (OAISD) is the 7 th largest intermediate school district in the state of Michigan. OAISD encompasses a balanced mix of residential, commercial, and agricultural properties with excellent access to the industrial, educational, and commercial complexes. This has allowed OAISD to establish many partnerships within the community to provide unique educational opportunities. OAISD works in collaboration with the local educational and community agencies in its service region to fulfill its mission. Most of these agencies reside within <strong>Ottawa</strong> County and the northern portion of Allegan County. Overall, OAISD services either directly or indirectly over 50,000 students and approximately 5000 teachers and staff.
