voluntary sector partners. The recommendations for industry and government clearly articulate a vision
for a future society that will be able to offer digital technologies to all. We know why digital engagement
is important, now we have to go the last mile to ensure opportunities to encourage use for all.
My thanks go to those who participated in the preparation of the report, but more widely to all those
in public, private, and voluntary sectors organisations who have helped create such a big improvement in the
UK’s performance in this area. I hope that we will continue to make even greater progress in the near future.
Lastly, a personal thanks to all those in and around the Office of the e-Envoy for all the support they have
