<strong>LNG</strong> is not mentioned <strong>as</strong> such <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong>se local regulations. But <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong>se regulations, substances<br />

mentioned <strong>in</strong> chapter 19 <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> IGC-code (The International Code <strong>for</strong> <strong>the</strong> Construction and<br />

Equipment <strong>of</strong> Ships Carry<strong>in</strong>g Liquefied G<strong>as</strong>es <strong>in</strong> Bulk) are considered <strong>as</strong> dangerous goods.<br />

S<strong>in</strong>ce liquid natural g<strong>as</strong> is mentioned <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> IGC-code <strong>as</strong> such, one can conclude that <strong>the</strong><br />

regulations concern<strong>in</strong>g dangerous goods are relevant <strong>for</strong> <strong>LNG</strong>.<br />

Below we will address <strong>the</strong> relevance <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> regulations <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> handl<strong>in</strong>g/carry<strong>in</strong>g <strong>of</strong> <strong>LNG</strong>.<br />
