On August 10, Sister Yvonne Wuensche, C.V.I.
celebrated the fiftieth anniversary of her religious
profession with the Congregation of the Incarnate
Word and Blessed Sacrament at the convent located
at 3400 Bradford Place. A Mass was celebrated by Rev.
Carl L. Belisch, C.S.B. and followed by a luncheon with
the community. The celebration was continued at the
Academy on August 23 with a reception.

Parents Make the Difference at IWA

The Parent Club is comprised of parents interested in participating in their daughter’s experience at IWA. All parents
are considered part of the Parent Club and are invited to join the meetings which are held 4-6 times per year. It’s a
great way to meet other parents and become familiar with the traditions of the Academy. Over the years, the Parent
Club has partnered in a multitude of activities with the Academy. They include: new parent meet & greet events,
family oriented fall and spring social events, parent educational events, the hosting of school receptions and
management of the school Spirit Shop.
Even though the school year is half over, it is never too late to become involved. We also are recruiting members for
