Ninth Annual Golf Classic Sets a New Record
The ninth annual Golf Classic, chaired by IWA Golf Coach
Julie Hoopingarner and IWA Parent Robert Kline, was held
on November 6, 2008, at the BlackHorse Golf Club.
Special recognition goes to Robert R. Fretz, Jr., President
of Fretz Construction who served as the 2008 Honorary
Chair. We appreciate his commitment to IWA and the
generosity of his many supporters.
Over $23,000 in net proceeds were raised in support of
IWA’s scholarship programs.
Sincere appreciation goes to the following parents and
individuals who assisted our Co-Chairs and served on the
event’s planning committee and who volunteered during
the tournament: Raymond Bourgeois, Kathy Brown,
Andy Edling, Roy Guerra, Monya Leger, Kim Lyman, Cathy
Mitchell, Dan Norrid, Tom O’Neill and Kevin and Suzy
Weishaar.
A big thank you to ALL our individual golfers and teams
who participated in the event as well as to the many who
donated door prizes.
