Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa was selected by the readers of Corporate Incentive
Travel based upon meeting facilities, overall hospitality, golf staff assistance, course condition and design
and tournament arrangements that effectively hosted their meetings and incentive travel programs.
-Travel & Leisure’s 2005 Most Underrated Resort Award
Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa named by the readers of Travel & Leisure as one of the “Most
Underrated Resorts in the World”. This award was based on rooms/facilities, location, service,

Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa has been awarded the “4-Globe ECOTEL” certification
by Hotel Valuation Services (HVS) Eco Services, a division of HVS International. The rating includes

efforts by Hyatt in waste management, water conservation, legislative compliance and employee
environmental training.
-The American Hotel & Motel Association Enviro-Management Award-Individual Property
Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa was awarded for developing an environmental program
that reduces air and water pollution. The program reaches beyond recycling and reductions in energy and
water consumption to include alternatives from toxic chemicals to man-made water features and
purchasing guidelines that include specifications for recycled content, all while maintaining quality
service and meeting guest expectations. In addition, Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa was
recognized for its participation in community environmental projects.
-Arizona Clean & Beautiful Annual Governor’s Pride in Arizona Award
Arizona Clean & Beautiful sponsored this award for environmental awareness demonstrating
innovation, economic benefits and risks, and transferability of environmental innovations and ideas to
others.
-The Arizona Hotel & Motel Association Good Enviro-Management Award
Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa was recognized in the Corporate Program category for
its extensive Environmental Program, integrating environmental management practices with every-day

Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa at Gainey Ranch was named a winner of Incentive
magazine’s prestigious 15 th annual Platinum Partner Award. Incentive magazine readers had the
opportunity to cast their votes and recognize excellence in the incentive industry. Winners were selected
based on the appeal of the destination, property or travel service including quality and professionalism of
service and the degree of creativity and promotional support.

Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa at Gainey Ranch has been chosen by the readers of
Meetings & Conventions magazine as one of the world’s top five meeting properties. The distinguished
Gold Key ‘Elite” Award defines the very “best of the best” among meeting properties worldwide, based on
overall professionalism and quality. Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa earned the ‘Elite’ status by
not only being voted as one of the finest meeting properties by readers of M&C, but the resort finished
among the top overall hotels/resorts, as measured by total votes cast by the industry. Over 200 hotels and
resorts were honored as Gold Key winners, with only five achieving the Gold Key ‘Elite’ level.
