Interesting gardens can occur when several
types of bulbs, perennials and annuals with
similar sun/soil requirements are combined in
the same flower bed. It becomes a Layer- or
Lasagne Garden when suggested planting
depths are variable enough to make it possible
to plant them on top of each other. With
good planning, the flowers can bloom together,
making a mass of color, or sequencially,
providing a long sequence of bloom. Either
