increase of 12.1% compared to 2008.<br />

America and Asia. Respectively, they account for 39.1%, 32.3% and 23.9% of the world total, together<br />
representing over 95% of all <strong>PCT</strong> national phase entries worldwide.<br />

Even though Argentina is not a <strong>PCT</strong> member, their applicants can file <strong>PCT</strong> applications if at least one applicant is a resident or national of<br />
a contracting state.
