Have you scheduled your annual eye exam yet? Making<br />
your appointment at any <strong>Henry</strong> <strong>Ford</strong> OptimEyes (HFO)<br />
location is as easy as calling 1-800-EYE-CARE. This<br />
one number connects you to the HFO Contact Center.<br />
“The Contact Center is a single point of contact for<br />
patients,” says Gail Elias, Finance Director of HFO.<br />
“You’ll reach a real person, located at the HFO<br />
headquarters in Madison Heights.”<br />
Quick & Convenient<br />
When you call the Contact Center, one of our<br />
enthusiastic, friendly representatives will help you<br />
schedule an appointment at any of the 17 HFO locations.<br />
“If you’re a new patient, the Contact Center can help you<br />
find the location nearest you,” Elias says.<br />
A few days before your appointment, you’ll receive<br />
a reminder call from the Contact Center. What’s more,<br />
if you have an emergency and need a same-day<br />
appointment, the Contact Center can schedule that, too.<br />
“The Contact Center is also committed to making<br />
sure that high-risk patients, such as those with<br />
diabetes and glaucoma, receive their annual eye<br />
exams,” Elias says. For these people, an annual exam is<br />
crucial to prevent vision loss.<br />
Open 7 Days a Week<br />
You can reach a representative at the Contact Center<br />
any day of the week. The hours are Monday through<br />
Friday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and<br />
Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.<br />
“Having one central place for making appointments<br />
increases the likelihood that patients receive the eye<br />
care they need,” Elias says. “It’s another way that HFO is<br />
committed to helping patients maintain healthy sight.”<br />
