Albert has
revealed that
Charlene knows
the genders of
their twins while
he does not
66
onaco celebrated National
M Day in true family style as a
new generation of the Grimaldis
stepped to the fore, led by a
beaming Princess Caroline and
her 20-month-old grandson,
Sacha Casiraghi, who joined the
festivities for the first time.
Also in the line-up were
Sacha’s parents: Caroline’s son
Andrea and his wife Tatiana
Santo Domingo, who is pregnant
with the couple’s second child.
While Princess Caroline’s
11-month-old grandson Raphael
– son of daughter Charlotte
Casiraghi – did not attend, the
principality’s baby boom was still
evidenced by a heavily-pregnant
Princess Charlene, due to give
birth to twins next month, who
joined husband Prince Albert.
Prince Albert has just revealed
that he doesn’t know the twins’
genders, and that he’s asked
Princess Charlene not to tell him.
“One doesn’t often have the
chance to have such pleasant
surprises in life, and that’s why I
prefer not to know,” he told
newspaper Monaco-Matin. H
