[14] In September 2007, in response to the case of L v Lithuania app.27527/03 the ECtHR has<br />
recently held that Lithunia must adopt the required subsidiary legislation to Article 2.27 of<br />
its Civil Code on the gender-reassignment of transsexuals, enabling genital surgery within<br />
the state, within three months. It is Not yet known what action has been taken.<br />
